Three Adsystech Employees Receive Customer Commendations
Washington, D.C. October 15, 2001. Adsystech employees, Tom Doyle, Charles
Thomas and Cynthia Nelson, received commendations for their on-site contract services. Tom Doyle works at NASA-Langley where
Adsystech supports the Synthetic Vision Systems (SVS) Program for General Aviation. Charles Thomas and Cynthia Nelson are part
of the SETA-II Team that supports the FAA with systems engineering and technical assistance for National Airspace System
Programs.
NASA recently commended Tom Doyle twice. In October 2001, Tom received a
certificate of appreciation as a member of the SVS Dallas/Ft. Worth Flight Research Team "for exceptional contributions and
dedication to the success of the flight tests". The Team contributed to the success of flight tests to develop revolutionary
Electronic Visual Meteorological Conditions cockpit display systems that dramatically improve safety by removing sometimes
deadly errors that only occur in low visibility conditions.
Tom was also a member of a research team that received a Group Achievement Award in
July 2001 for the Airborne Information for Lateral Spacing Research at the Langley Research Center for developing, validating,
and demonstrating the Airborne Information for Lateral Spacing concept to increase parallel runway capacity during instrument
meteorological conditions. Adsystech, Inc. would like to congratulate Tom Doyle and his teammates on their professional efforts
with NASA.
Charles Thomas received a Certificate of Achievement from the Department of
Transportation for outstanding contributions in support of the Labor Distribution Reporting Program. Charles was recognized for
his assistance to the Corporate Labor Distribution Reporting (LDR) Implementation Team. His knowledge and ability to transfer
experience and insights were a significant impact on the success of the FAA LDR implementation. Chris Bertram, Assistant
Administrator for Financial Services, ABA-1 said, "people like you are the reason this initiative will be a success!" Adsystech
would like to congratulate Charles on a great job done.
Cynthia Nelson received a Letter of Appreciation for her contributions on
SETA-II from Julia Gatling, Acting Lead of the Integrated Service Team for Business Ops, AND-200. "Cynthia Nelson became a
productive team member … and was instrumental in coordinating the Materiel Delivery Management Tool update from the affected AND
organization." She also ensured "that proper training, updates and questions were handled expeditiously and in a professional
manner. Ms. Nelson’s exemplary performance during this time period included a proactive attitude and commitment to the success
of the interim inventory Warehoused Equipment Database (WED). Her efforts contributed in complying with the Administrator's
commitment for a fully implemented WED by October 1, 2001." Ms. Gatling’s also cited Cynthia’s "ability to work collaboratively
with government personnel" which "has positively influenced working relationships within, and external to, the Integrated
Service Team." Stated by Lou Kleiman, BAE SETA-II Program Manager, "you have set the goal to which all of us can aspire."
Tom, Charles and Cynthia provide the kind of performance that our customers expect of Adsystech. We
salute all three for an exceptional job, and to all our employees who support our customers every day. |
