Adsystech Award
"CAP Integrator for the State of Minnesota"
St Paul, MN, July 12, 2004 Adsystech was named the CAP Integrator by the Minnesota Community Action Association, Inc., and the Minnesota Community Action Data System Collaborative. Adsystech was awarded the contract to provide Software and Services to develop and implement a custom solution for the Community Action Agencies through out the State of Minnesota. Adsystech was selected for its Adaptive Enterprise Solutions© (AES©) technology which will allow the Minnesota Community Actions Agencies to implement and tailor the Adsystech standard Community Action offerings such as the envisioned central intake and referral system, faster and cheaper and will allow easy and cost-effective modifications to this system in the future.
The following sections provide a high-level overview of the underlying technology that will be used to implement the CAP Integrator solution. It should be noted that the AESplatform© could be easily adapted to alternate implementations or variations if required.
AESenginuity© Platform Technology
The Adaptive Enterprise Solutions© (AES©) platform enables Minnesota Community Action Agencies to obtain a complete of partial enterprise solution faster, better and cheaper than with current commercial-of-the-shelf (COTS) products or by using custom development methods. The AESenginuity© platform was architected with flexibility as a primary objective. The ability for system administrators (not programmers) to use their current skill sets to perform application enhancements usually performed by a programmer was the goal of this new platform.
AESenginuity© Tools
Provided with the AESenginuity© Platform products are a set of graphical editing tools which
allow system administrators to enhance standard AESca© modules. These tools greatly reduce the technical skill set required to maintain the system, thus empowering administrators with the ability to make changes to all pages within the system.
Intake and Referral Process
In the first phase, Adsystech’s AESintake© model will be customized to meet the MCAA’s specific requirements. AESintake© provides a single point of entry for all programs within a CAP agency. The Central Intake and Referral model begins with the capture of each customer’s demographic information upon the customer initial encounter with the agency.
Next, the system will capture household, work and education information, as well as documentation to support the verification of supplied information. This process is followed by the profile page, which captures the remaining information required to determine the customer’s potential eligibility for programs offered internally and externally to the agency. Additionally, consent, scheduling, and mapping information will be provided through the intake model. AESintake© also includes CSBG Reporting and ROMA Reporting.
