October 3rd

By / October 3, 2017 / , / 0 Comments

“On October 3rd, he asked me what day it was; it’s October 3rd.”

Today is national Mean Girls Day, a day celebrated by all fans of the popular 2004 movie Mean Girls, starring Tina Fey, Amanda Seyfried and Lindsay Lohan. Every year since the movie debuted, October 3rd is celebrated because of the famous quote in the movie, “on October 3rd, he asked me what day it was; it’s October 3rd”. Today, the cast reunited not only for the celebration of the national holiday, but also to help give to the victims of the Vegas shooting that occurred this past weekend. The cast teamed up to create a gofundme page and use their platforms to bring awareness. They ask all the groolest fans to make a small donation of just $3 to reach their goal of $300,000; 100% of the proceeds will go to National Compassion Fund. Watch the video and donate here.

For people affected by this disaster looking to find your families, visit Family Assistance Center at the Las Vegas Convention Center South Hall, 3150 Paradise Rd. Or call 1-800-536-9488.
For those interested in helping further, make an appointment with United Blood Services to give blood. Please share any videos or photos to FBI by calling 1-800-255-5324.
