Washington, DC October 12, 2000 Adsystech, Inc. announced today that it has signed three new contracts to provide services to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Adsystech was awarded a contract for program management, financial management, systems engineering and administrative support for the Office of National Airspace (NAS) Program and Financial Management. Adsystech will perform various tasks, including technical and program management support; acquisition management; cost management and estimating; financial management; automated management and analysis tools; systems engineering support; and administrative support. The contract has a three-year base period with four one-year options and a potential value of $20 million.
Adsystech has also signed a contract with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) to support the EnRoute Software Development and Support Contract (ERSDS III). The CSC contract includes a three-year base period, plus two one-year options and a total value of $207.1 million if all options are exercised. Under ERSDS III, Adsystech will be providing CSC enroute software support and software enhancements, modifications, and development of functions for the air traffic operational environment of the NAS. Work will be performed in Rockville, Maryland and Egg Harbor, New Jersey.
Previously, Adsystech had announced that it is one of eight core subcontractors under BAE Systems Applied Technologies that was awarded a ten-year, $454.4 million contract from the FAA's System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA-II) contract. Adsystech and the BAE Systems team are supporting selected programs contained in the NAS Architecture and Capital Investment Plan.
In addition to these awards, Adsystech, Inc. currently provides on-site coordination, project management and operational and administrative support for the Center TRACON Automation System (CTAS) and the User Request Evaluation Tool (URET) automation programs within FAA's Free Flight Phase 1 (FFP1) Office. Adsystech is also a subcontractor to AMTI under the FAA's Office of Information Technology with services under the Broad Information Technology Services (BITS) acquisition.
