Washington, DC, June 26 – Adsystech, Inc. has announced that its employees Chet MacMillan and Bob Thornburgh have jointly published a technical paper with FAA employee Mike Allocco entitled “Operating and Support Hazard Analysis of Existing Electrical/Electronic/Avionics Systems; Utilizing a Scenario Driven Technique” for the Systems Safety Society.
The paper provides instruction on how to conduct an Operating and Support Hazard Analysis (O&SHA), by presenting a methodology for recommending precautions, controls and mitigations under various scenarios. By utilizing the Generic Analysis Template, the reader is informed of the processes and level of effort needed to conduct an O&SHA. Due to the size of the Generic Analysis Template, a downloadable copy is available on the Adsystech website as a useable tool. The user can download the Generic Analysis Template and have the ability to read and/or write the document.
The Systems Safety Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Safety Professional in the application of Systems Engineering and Systems Management to the processes of hazard, safety and risk analysis.
