The Resource Manager© is an application that provides consolidated views of an organization's resources and schedules over several time frames, allows administrator-invoked modifications and assignments, and notifies the resources of schedule modifications by wired or wireless electronic devices. The essential features of Resource Manager© include managing resources, managing unscheduled activities, and managing the scheduling of activities against a set of resources.
The Resource Manager© provides a flexible solution with a view consistent with the MS Outlook GUI, and is accessible by the administrator through either in-house computing systems, Intranet or secure Internet. The solution is highly interactive, providing the user with critical information to assist in making timely decisions concerning resource allocation. The Resource Manager© is successfully operating for commercial businesses managing employees in vehicles that visit multiple locations every day, and for large administrative organizations that need to schedule meetings and conference rooms for scheduled and ad hoc events.
Our Resource Manager© provides the ability to collect and present multiple personal MS Outlook calendars via the MS Exchange Server to the meeting scheduler to assist in determining available time slots. The meeting scheduler can select the time slot and the Resource Manager© automatically synchronizes this selected time slot to all personal Outlook calendars. The effected meeting participants can automatically be informed of the revisions to their schedules via email or remotely by common handheld devices.
