Since 1999, Adsystech has provided a wide variety and a broad range of IT-related support services to the WASA’s Department of Information Technology, Office of the Chief Information Officer.

We provided an IT architect to re-organize the IT Department by aligning its resources into functional components (e.g., LAN/WAN support, applications support and user support) to improve services and reduce delivery costs. We assisted in re-designing the IT architecture to provide a common suite of equipment and software; and providing Tier I and II help desk support.

Adsystech financial systems experts assisted WASA in implementing a new COTS Customer Information System and integrating WASA’s new financial and payroll systems into the District’s systems. In addition, we are providing operational support to A/P, A/R, Ledger and other financial systems.

Adsystech engineers have assisted WASA with specifying, selecting and installing a modern telecommunications system including telephone, electronic mail and voicemail. We have performed a number of analyses (e.g., phone counts between WASA locations, etc.), performed extensive cost-benefits studies and provided expertise in specifying equipment exclusively for WASA needs.

Adsystech acquisition support specialists provided the WASA Fleet Manager, who manages over 3,500 vehicles and pieces of equipment, with alternative acquisition strategies, identified and established the repair and replacement requirements, performance measures and metrics for the out-sourced Fleet Maintenance contractor, and prepared the full and open competition request for proposal (RFP). A 50% saving has been estimated by the WASA Fleet Manager with the resultant contract.

We currently provide network engineers and administrators (NT, Lotus Domino and 2000), help desk specialists, applications integrators/developers and Oracle database administrators (DBAs).
