Every year, achievement is propagated throughout the country. Whether it is the congratulatory handshake with the winning candidate of an election or an awarded scholarship to a university, we are a culture that can’t find an achievement that is too big or small to celebrate. Last year was no different. The end of June 2016 brought on the inaugural California Nonprofits Day celebration in Sacramento. During this time, 72 nonprofits were honored with the title Nonprofits of the Year including Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County. Ms. Patricia Nickols-Butler, President/Chief Executive Officer of the organizations, accepted the award and was able to add it to the numerous accolades she has been awarded with over her 30 years of service. A dedicated leader of her community, Ms. Nickols-Butler is a continuous trailblazer in serving the under-served at CAPSBC. Congratulations on such an honorable achievement!
