"A single, pregnant, mom would be forced to enter many doors each narrowly focused (i.e. WIC, Early Heard Start, Energy Assistance, Rental Assistance….) to address all of her family needs. Each of the program enrollment’s will require substantial time and effort by both the family and agency staff. The tragedy of this truth is, in most cases, each of the programs will require almost identical information. This silo approach to providing access has led to many of the negative stigmas associated with program services."
Families/Individuals seeking access to program services are, a lot of times, in need of support services across a number of the domains leading to self-sufficiency. Adsystech created the Coordinated Service Exchange to give families/ individuals the opportunity to address all of their needs through a one time universal application/ enrollment and validation process. The barriers previously created through "serialized" access are lowered and eradicated when replaced with the Coordinated Service Exchange.
