With 1.5 Million hours logged of community service, Alaska RurAL Cap has shown nothing but dedication to their continuous journey towards holistic wellness within The Last Frontier state. This year they celebrate 50 years as an organization dedicated to Alaskans and their needs.

RurAL CAP has stood by their mission “To empower low-income Alaskans through advocacy, education, affordable housing and direct services that respect our unique values and cultures.” over this span of time.

RurAL CAP continued to exceed expectations in 2016 when they were able to successfully make a difference across 85 communities. In commemoration of their past, present and future journey, Alaska RurAL CAP created a short 2 min film representing their strong ties within their communities.
